How to Organize Anything

 

                               

 

Section 1: Declutter first

 

  • Get 3 boxes or bags...1 for Things to Keep, 1 for Things to Give Away, and 1 for Things to Throw Away
  • Use small time slots to work...15 minutes...if you're feeling good at the end of 15...you can keep going.  If you need a break, get up and do something else.  Come back to the sorting another time.

 

 

Section 2: To Organize what you Keep - Think of the song...A, B, C, D....

          I read an article years ago that changed my organizing permanently.  The author said to assign a letter to each item that you need to keep.  It doesn't matter if you are working through the bathroom, kitchen, cleaning closet, pantry, garage, or any other room.  Read on....

 

  1. "A" items are things that you will use everyday.
  2. "B" items are things that you use 2 or 3 times a week.
  3. "C" items are things that you use 2 or 3 times a month.
  4. "D" items are things that you use only 1 or 2 times a year.
