How to Organize Anything

Section 1: Declutter first
- Get 3 boxes or bags...1 for Things to Keep, 1 for Things to Give Away, and 1 for Things to Throw Away
- Use small time slots to work...15 minutes...if you're feeling good at the end of 15...you can keep going. If you need a break, get up and do something else. Come back to the sorting another time.
Section 2: To Organize what you Keep - Think of the song...A, B, C, D....
I read an article years ago that changed my organizing permanently. The author said to assign a letter to each item that you need to keep. It doesn't matter if you are working through the bathroom, kitchen, cleaning closet, pantry, garage, or any other room. Read on....
- "A" items are things that you will use everyday.
- "B" items are things that you use 2 or 3 times a week.
- "C" items are things that you use 2 or 3 times a month.
- "D" items are things that you use only 1 or 2 times a year.
(Below here is PBWiki's examples for a group site...I'm keeping them incase I want to use the table.)
